About our school

Mandurama Public School is a small, beautiful rural school located in the village of Mandurama in the Orange district.

The school prides itself on developing the 'whole child' in a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Mandurama Public School celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2001 having been established in 1876 to provide education for the children in the local community.

Mandurama is recognised for having provided an excellent education for the children in the local community over many years. The school's aim is to promote effective learning through maximum participation by students, staff and community to ensure students are well equipped for success in later life. While considerable emphasis is placed on literacy and numeracy the school is increasingly concerned with providing a wide range of experiences for all children.

An extensive enrichment program operates within the school. A special feature of Mandurama Public School is the excellent communication that exists between the staff and parents. This regular, often daily, contact ensures that parents are well informed of school happenings.
